Preparing for Your Appointment
Referral: Please send your GP or specialist referral letter before your appointment so we can ensure Dr Conrad is the right specialist for you.
Medical Records and Imaging: Bring any relevant test results, ultrasounds, or imaging (e.g. Ultrasounds, MRIs, or CT scans) from your referring doctor.
Insurance and Identification: Please bring your Medicare card, private health insurance details, and any additional cards such as a DVA card.
List of Medications: Prepare a list of your current medications or supplements.
Questions: Note down any concerns or questions you would like to address.
Payment Method: We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, and cash.
During the Appointment
Comprehensive History: Dr Conrad will take the time to understand your medical history and current concerns, ensuring all relevant details are addressed.
Examination (if required): Depending on your condition, a physical examination or in-office diagnostic tests may be conducted to provide a clearer picture.
Discussion of Findings: Dr Conrad will explain your diagnosis, answer your questions, and present any relevant findings from tests or examinations.
Personalised Care Plan: Together, you will develop a tailored treatment or management plan that aligns with your specific needs.
Flexible Appointment Options
We offer telehealth consultations for initial appointments when necessary, ensuring you can access care conveniently. In-person follow-ups are arranged for physical examinations or procedures.
Surgical Planning (If Needed)
If surgery is recommended, Dr Conrad will guide you through the consent process and discuss available dates. He performs surgeries at Kareena Private Hospital, The Sutherland Hospital, St George Private Hospital, and Hurstville Private Hospital. For uninsured patients, Dr Conrad offers public health support through The Sutherland Hospital, ensuring accessible care for all patients.
Urgent Conditions
If you are experiencing any of the following conditions, please let our staff know, and your appointment will be prioritised:
Severe heavy menstrual bleeding.
Postmenopausal bleeding.
Large or painful ovarian cysts.
Prolapse associated with pain or difficulty passing urine.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact our office during business hours and provide at least 24 hours’ notice so that we can offer your appointment time to another patient on our waiting list. For cancellations made on the same day as your scheduled appointment, a prepayment will be required to secure your next booking. This payment will become non-refundable if the subsequent appointment is cancelled with less than one business day’s notice. We appreciate your understanding.
